How to look up my grandmother’s Will or Trust from 47 years ago?
I was her only grandchild and she was very wealthy. She had 2 sons who died – my father (who predeceased her) and my uncle who died 20 years ago (he had a wife but no kids). Where do I start?

I am sure that you know that you may indeed run in to the possibility that records were lost or destroyed some how. But if they are still around - nd maybe on microfilm - you would starts by going to the probate court in the county in which she resided at the time of her death. That is where the Will would be filed. A Will that has been filed is a pubic record. A trust, however, is not and that could be an issue. Good luck.
