If my husband had a sex change, how do I divorce when we are legally both women?
My state does not recognize same sex marriages.

If you truly wish to divorce your husband who had a sex change after you were married, you file for the marriage dissolution the same way as though he was still a male anatomically. In the dissolution papers state that when you married he was male and subsequent to the marriage, a sex change happened.
I suggest that you consult with a family law attorney to assist you in your endeavor.
