What todo about an accident that occurred in a company vehiclele on company time?

Husband received a ticket for causing an accident. This was while he was at work and in a work vehicle. We don’t think the manager at the time reported it to corporate and now he is receiving threatening letters from the other person’s insurance company to pay up for damages. What can we do? They’re threatening judgment when the company should have taken care of it.

If your husband was involved in an automoble accident and received a citation for the accident while he was driving a work vehicle during the course and scope of his employment, he needs to contact his own insurance company for his own automobile(s) about what happened and report the incident as soon as possible.

Your husband also needs to follow instructions from his own claims representative under his own personal automobile insurance policy concerning the incident and cooperate with the representative in providing all needed information.

Likewise, he needs to meet with his work supervisor again about what happened and make sure the accident is properly reported through work as a work related mishap and that he receive written confirmation from work that the accident has been reported.

Good luck.
