Can they fire me for that? Can I sue them?

You may have a cause of action. Racial discrimination is illegal in employment; so is retaliating against an employee who brings a claim of racial discrimination. You could contact your state equal/civil rights agency, or else consult with an employment law attorney about bringing a suit.
