Yes, you could be evicted, and you could even be evicted if you pay 90% of the rent you owe. A lease, even an oral lease, is a contract; if you breach or violate it, by not paying the full amount due under the lease, on time, you may be lose possession of the rental premises and be evicted. Many landlords will work with you, if you are making a good faith effort to pay and simply can't pay it all at once--but they don't have to. A landlord may insist on the full rent, and evict you if you don't pay it.
