If I’m in a 5 year Chapter 13 repayment plan with just 8 months to go and have been laid off, can my friends continue to make my payments for the time remaining?
My position was eliminated at work and I am on a 3 month moratorium with my plan. Good friends want to see me complete the plan and desire to make the payment for 8 months while I am seeking employment. How does that work with the trustee?

I doubt the trustee willhave an issue with it. Contact your attorney to see if there are anyother options. You may be able to get a hardship discharge. Regardless, I would think the trustee is likley to be fine with another person making your payments.
