If I been living in the U.S. with an H1B visa the last 4 year, what do I need to do to get the green card?

I’m working for a company and my family and I came to USA firt with a TN visa, then we change to H1B VISA, we want to know How long do we need wait to get the green card?

The green card does not come automatically.  You have to be petitioned for the green card through the employer in your case.  Depending on when the employer begins the process and under what category it will be filed, it may be about 2-2.5 years before you can get a green card or longer.
