When I purchased the car, the wrong VIN number was put in my paperwork and they say they submitted a “correction form” to the DMV. I’d like to know if I have any legal recourse if they aren’t willing to work with me? As a side note, in a screenshot of the original ad online it shows that they represented the mileage as much less than the actual mileage and had BBB accreditation stickers in the office when they aren’t accredited. I see all this in hindsight.

Under the laws of all states in this country the seller of an item is required to disclose to all potential purchasers of an item all matters known by the seller that affects price paid or desirability.
