If I bought a car from my stepdad, i there anything I can do legally to get the title from him?
We put it in my name and he was just holding on to the title and spare key until I paid the loan off. Now I’ve paid the entire $5,500 to him but he still won’t give up the title or spare.

Yes, you can sue him. You would bring a legal action seeking a declaratory judgment, or court determination, that you are now the owner, as well as an injunction, or court order, requiring him to honor the agreement and turn the title (and spare key) over to you.
