If I bought a car last year and have had nothing but problems with it, since it’s a used car does the lemon law apply?

It has had at least 4 waterpumps, a new engine, a new tensior belt and pulley (that I paid for less then a month after the new enging was put in), 2 catalytic converters, a new radiator, thermastat and some other small things that I can’t remember off the top of my head. I purchased a warrenty and they have paid for all of the repairs except for the belts and pulley but this car is in the shop at least once a month if not more. What options do I have?

If the vehicle that you purchased last year was not a brand new car and if the car was not purchased from a car dealership, the lemon laws of most states in this country will not apply to your situation.

Unless you can prove that the seller of the car that you bought knew that it had problems and did not disclose such to you before you purchased it, you unfortunately are stuck with a bad vehicle.
