What to do if I bought a house 7 years ago and just found out that there is extensive rot and mold issues inside the walls and frame?
This is due to the fact that the builder did not put in a big enough shield protector on the side. Water was slowly leaking in due to rain and wind. Found out that builder was a contractor from out of state. My insurance company is not covering anything. I would like to know if I can go after anyone. Emptied my savings account fixing the problems.

From what you have written, I suggest that you consult with an attorney as to what your legal recourse is if any. If you cannot afford to pay for such a consultation, contact your local legal aid clinic. From what you have written, you may be time barred from your state's statute of limitations for bringing such an action since the statute of limitations for such a claim that you have ordinarily is 4 years from close of escrow.
