What to do if I filed bankruptcy 4 years ago and my mortgage was never reaffirmed but it has been reported to the credit bureaus?

The collection agency that received my mortgage after the discharge has been reporting to the credit bureau. It was my understanding that they were not allowed to do this since the mortgage was never reaffirmed. Would you be able to assist me in explaining why they are allowed to and if they aren’t what I would need to do?

the debt for the mortgage should say bankruptcy discharged on the report.  you do not owe the debt .  have you stayed in the house and kept up the payments?
