If you live in New Hampshire, this is even more out of line, because the statute of limitation is only 3 years, there, if my research is correct. I'm not a New Hampshire attorney either, so it's best to speak to someone in your area -- and, again, the rest of my answer stands. Sometimes, the details do matter, a lot.
