Can bill collectors put a lien on my home?

I have $70,000 of unpaid hospital bills. I am unemployed, uninsured and supported by my family. I have been denied by Medicaid. I own my home.

Not only can they put a lien on it, in some states they can even seize and sell it.  However, that's very unlikely.
