What can I do if I have recently found out that my neighbor is placing their trash into my garbage containers and I have been paying for it?
Is this against the law? I have a house and my neighbors and I do not have any trash removal set up for our location, so I hire a local young man to remove the trash from my house.

It is against the law.
If their doing this has caused you to incur any aditional costs--e.g. you are charged by the bag or by the pound, so more garbage equals more cost--you could sue your neighbor for the additional costs they caused you. And if the garbage is on your property (and not, say, common property), they are trespassing: you could call the police and file a police report, and potentially file charges if they are coming onto your property without your permission.
