If I have a mechanic’s lien on my property but the company is not in business any longer and I can’t find any contact information, how do I get it removed?

You can file a suit to 'clear' the title if the lien is improperly levied on your property. If they are a business, then most business attorneys can assist you in finding info on the company for service. This would include search county records for DBA filings and the secretary of state's records for business registrations. One of these sources will give you the contact information needed to serve the company and resolve the lien.
