Virtually all states and counties have cooperative agreements with other states and counties so that a defendant can transfer their probation or parole to another jurisdiction. The transfer will depend on your originating state and the receiving state. Your state must approve the transfer and the receiving state must agree to receive you. A "no" on either end will prevent the transfer. Most transfers, however, are approved unless there is an unusual situation with a defendant's case.
