The fact that you have 3 young children may have no bearing on the validity of the use of the three day notice by your landlord. If he or she had the legal right to use the notice as per the law regarding evictions then it is legal. However, if yo do not leave then he or she will have to start summary proceedings against you, which is an eviction proceeding. At that point in time you will go before the Judge and then explain your situation. The Judge does not necessarily have to take the children in to consideration but if you explain your situation it may buy you more time. I would speak with an attorney at legal aid if I were you as soon as you can. Good luck.
