What to do if I just got into a car accident today?

A car was backing out of a parking lot and hit my car on the right side, smashing the lights and the right front side in. I currently have no insurance. I was wondering what are the steps I can take to immediately start resolving this problem?

Since the other driver was at fault, the fact that you did not have auto insurance is irrelevant.  You should contact the at-fault driver's auto insurance carrier and file a claim for your property damage.

The at-fault party's insurance carrier will pay for your property damage (the cost of repairs to your car).  If you need a rental car while your car is being repaired, the at-fault driver's auto insurance carrier will pay for it.
