The way to tranfer a child custody case from one state to another in the county where you are presently residing would require you to go down to the court house of your new state and ask the court clerk for the protocol and the presumed application for the transfer where you would have to pay a fee for such.

The easiest way to do what you desire is for you to consult with a family law attorney in your new locality and have him or her file the required petition to have the child custody matter initiated in one state transferred to your current state.
