Technically, until you are charged, there really isn't anything that you can do (regarding a plea, etc). However, at this point you should consult with a criminal law attorney in your area. They can best use their local contacts within the court system to your best advantage. Whatever you do, do not speak with the police without having an attorney present to represent you.
