What to do if I received a shoplifting citation and I’m nervous about what may happen?
It was stupid and I wish I had never done it nor will ever do it again. I go to court next month but don’t know what to expect. I have never been in trouble before. I was completely honest. The amount was for $224.

Based upon what you have written about and the serious ramifications if you are convicted of the crime of shop lifting, I suggest that you contact a criminal defense attorney or your local public defender's office in the community that you reside in for legal advice. A private criminal defense attorney can be found on attorneypages.com.
