You can be served with notice of a suit where ever the person performing the service finds you, including your place of employment.  However, this does not mean that the process server can just go where ever they want to at your employer's facilities.  Some employers do not permit guests into certain areas and can deny the process server access to the facility to serve you-- but this is up to your employer.  In these cases, the process server will have to wait until the person leaves the building to go to their car-- at which time they can formally serve them.
