You call the district clerk where she was to file the papers and just ask them. Some in Texas offer online resources where you can look it up as well.
You can also contact the vital statistics division of the Texas Department of State Health Services. For a fee, they can tell you if she did obtain the divorce and if so, which county it was filed in.
