If you are under 21, there is a zero tolerance policy in Texas. If you are over 21 and you blew over the legal limit for a DUI, then your license can be suspended depending on a number of factors, regardless of whether you refused the blood test or not. At this point, you should immediately consult a criminal defense attorney who has a great amount of experience with DUI charges and see if the suspension can be removed and any fines lowered. See if your jurisdiction has any particular type of delayed conviction programs and see if you can qualify for it.
