In NC, if convicted of a second DUI you face 4 days jail (and possibly up to 1 year depending on the circumstances; your license will be suspended for 1-4 years if previous DUI was within 3 years; you will have to install mandatory IID (ignition interlock device), and you will be subject to several hundred dollars in fines. At this point you should consult directly with local DUI attorney.
