What to do if I was fired from my job at a grocery store when I was accused of stealing “around $700” but they can’t give exact amount?
I am 19 years old and have no previous record, not so much as a parking ticket. Can you tell me if I am convicted what is my likely sentence since I’m a first-time offender? In my state anything over $200 is felony.

A felony theft like this is serious business. If you did not do the crime, a) don't confess and b) get an attorney (private counsel) immediately to see if this can be kicked out of court due to lack of probable cause. If you did commit the crime, get a private criminal defense counsel immediately to a) try to get this lowered to a misdemeanor and b) see if you qualify for a delayed conviction wherein if you meet particular conditions like restitution, community service the like, the charges and conviction will be dismissed.
