I was fired for “inappropriate language”. All of the crew use the same type of language yet only 3 of 16 employees were fired.

The law does not require employers to treat employees equally or fairly or consistently; an employer is allowed to fire employee A for something employee B also does.
The exceptions, or when an employer can't do this:
1) If an employee has an employment contract or is subject to a union agreement, the employer must honor its terms in regard to grounds or process/procedure for termination.
2) No treating employees differently or unequally due to specifically protected category, such as on the basis of their race, sex, religion, age over 40, or disability.
Other than the above, though, what you describe is most likely legal.
