What are my rights if I was hired 4 years ago as full-time but for the last 2 months I have only been getting part-time hours as we are being sent home?
If an employer cannot uphold the job offer of full-time work hours, am I just supposed to go along with that? I’m working 30 hours a week which is part time, not 40 which is what my job description says. It is causing stress and is emotional rollercoaster.

Most employment is"at will" which means that an employer can set the terms and conditions of employment much as it sees fit. This includes changing the hours that an individual is scheduled to work. Also,an employer's action cannot violate the terms of any applicable union agreeme, which this does not appear to. Therefore, unless this treatment violates an employment contract or constitues some form of legally actionable discrimnation, it is legal.
