If I was involved in a car accident where I was attempting to make a left turn out of a plaza center, should I plead guilty with an explanation or not guilty?

The 2 through lanes had stopped to let me through, and a woman driving another vehicle was driving in the center left turn lane. Based on the speed she was going (at least 40 miles an hour) it is clear that she was attempting to use this lane as an extension of the left turn lane for the light 500-700 feet ahead of her. When police arrived I was issued a ticket for failure to yield but I do not feel that I am at fault because she was in the center turn lane prematurely with the intent to pass through traffic. Also the area of traffic was extra heavy due to a detour.

Guilty with an explanation is still guilty.  It affords n benefit.  You would be wise to retain counsel to explore whether a resolution maybe reached to preserve your record.
