If I was suppose to get paid today and I didn’t so now I can’t redeem my necklace which is in a pawn shop, can I sue my employer?

I have a $5000 necklace in the pawn shop and If i don’t pay them by the 19th and today’s the 17th I’ll lose my necklace. Can I sue my employer if I lose my necklace?

No, you cannot sue them for this. Someone is only liable for the reasonably foreseeable losses caused by their actions. It is in no way reasonably foreseeale that an employee would pawn a $5,000 necklace and need to redeem it by the 19th and be unable to do so due to being paid late. That is such an unusual chain of events that the employer is not responsible for the consequences.
