What are my rights if I was suspended for issues at work regarding failed company policies?

I work at an international airport. My badge expired 10days ago and there was some software issue to renew my badge. So I have been out of work since then. They called me today to come in so I can fill a form for fingerprint. At my arrival they didnt do what they called me for instead they told me they have to suspend me to investigate more on an issue at work. The issue was a leader went and told a lie on me saying I was using my cell phone and sleeping on the plane. Which I deny. They suspend and I am not sure if they suspended him because we both wrote a statement. What should I do?

Unless this action violates the terms of an employment contract or union agreement, then you have no legal claim here. The fact is that an employer can set the conditions of the workplace much as ot sees fot (absnet some form of legally actionable discrimination). Accordingly, as an "at will" worker, you can be suspended (or even terminated) for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice.
