If you are receiving child support payment for your child from the minor's other parent it is best that you place such support payments in your own personal checking account for the child's benefit as opposed to a business account that presumably has no direct benefit for the minor. That way you keep an appearance that the money is not being used for anything other than the benefit of your child.
