If a homeowner dies, does their homeowner insurance become null and void?
What happens if there is damage to the house that occurs after the death? The homeowner committed suicide and her body wasn’t discovered for 5 weeks. Will the policy cover the clean up and loss of use for her adult children who were living with her?

So long as the insurance policy for the home that you have written about did not lapse then the policy is still in effect regardless if the homeowner died. As to what the insurance policy may cover such depends upon what it states as well as any exclusions. As such, you need to read the insurance policy in detail that you have written about for that answer.
