First of all, you gave no specifics about your "record". Were you arrested but the charges were later dismissed? If you were convicted, was if for a misdemeanor or a felony? How long ago did it happen? These and other questions will dictate what, if any, action you can take regarding the "expungement" (i.e. clearing) of your criminal hisroty record. here is a link to a site that will explain your rights and possible remedies:
