If a pre-school promised that the teacher we visited would be the teacher we would get then broke that promise, do we have a right to break a contract?

The promise was verbal but sn’t it fraud? School has not yet started.

Under the laws of all states in this country a parent enrolls his or her child into a school based upon the school itself and not an individual teacher who may only teach a particular class grade or course. Teachers come and go like employees at "Macys" or some other store.

You can voice your concerns to the principal of the school that your child is enrolled in but under the law you do not have a legal right to break your contract for school without recourse. However, if the pincipal will allow you to do so in writing, problem solved.
