If am employee quits after two days, do I have to pay them?
I just hired an employee, put her through 13-14 hours of training, and then she
quit with no notice. Am I obligated to pay her?

Mandatory training is compensable work time, even if a trainee quits without notice. Accordingly, you must pay her for the time that she worked (i.e. was in training). While unfortunate for you, it is the law.

Yes, you have to pay her for the time she worked--and mandatory training counts as work time for this purpose. No matter how little an employee works or how abruptly they leave, they have to be paid for whatever time they were there.
