Unless you have a lease that requires a notice of sale, then you have no right to be informed of a change of owership in advance. Upon sale however, you would need notification so that you could make rent payments to the proper party. That having been said, your lease will need to be honored by the new owner/landlord. Legally, they will purchase the property "subject to" your tenancy. If you have no lease, then you are a month-to-month tenant and the new landlord could give you a 30-day notice to vacate the premises if they should so choose.
Note: Upon sale, your security deposit will be assigned to the new owner, so they would be the one obligated to return it to you as such time as you move out.
