Extraditing someone over a traffic ticket is highly unlikly. That having been said, if you are stopped for something a minor as a traffic ticker it will show up and you can be taken into custody on the spot. Even if you are not then extradited and are released, it was be embarrasing for you and will cause you inconvience. And this can happen over and over again. Also, this warrant will show up in employment and other background checks. At this point, you will have to probably travel back to the issuing state and turn yourself into the court. Since this is now a criminal matter you really should have legal representation. Your attorney can then deal with both the warrant and the unpaid ticket. Also, they can use their local court contacts to your best advantage.
