Florida law (and federal, or national, law, too) does not require companies to pay employees for accrued but unused vacation time upon termination. Companies are free to set their own policies in this regard. The only requirement is that whatever policy the company has adopted, it must honor that policy, at least until such time as it announces a change in policy. Therefore, if your company as paid out vacation time to other employees who were terminated, it should pay you, too.
