Pregnancy has nothing to do with marital status--whether that's pregnancy prior to marriage, during marriage, or even after the dissolution of marriage. So the fact that you became pregnant by your husband after the divorce is filed does not affect your ability to get the divorce. If this is your first child, it does add a complete new dimension to the divorce: child custody and support. That is, who has primary custody of the child (or do you have joint custody); and also, how much does the non-custodial parent have to pay in terms of support. So if you did not have children before and were handling the divorce yourselves, I recommend you get an attorney now to help you, since the situation has been vastly complicated.
