If I have a misdomeanor theft that I’m getting charged with but I haven’t went to court for it yet, is it on my record?
I have recently gotten fired because I accidently stole a gift card. So, I need a new job, and I was just wondering if in the application, when it asks about having issues on my record, if I should sayt yes or no. Because I haven’t went to court for it yet, so I’m just wondering if its on my record yet.

If you have not yet been convicted of the misdemeanor charge theft yet, then there is no criminal conviction that you are writing about concerning this incident on your record to place down concerning any job application.
However, read the job application carefully. Sometimes the questions are worded as to arrest for a crime and not just convicted of a crime.
