The odds are good you will not have jail time, especially if you show contrition and can make restitution. The odds will be even better if you hire an experienced local criminal defense lawyer to represent you. Experienced local counsel will know the players--the prosecutors; the judge; etc.--and will be able to best reach out to them and best frame the issue in a way that will maximize your chance of being treated lienantly.
