If I just got a DUI for the second time and my first was 11 years ago, what will happen?
I was convicted once before of DUI, is there a time limit after which the first will not be used against me?

In CT, the lookback period on previous DUI convictions is 10 years. This means that any DUI conviction outside of this timeframe will be treated as a first offense for sentencing purposes, although, it will still remain on your driving record. That having been said, even a "first DUI" carries serious consequnces so you really should consult directly with an attorney who handles these kind of cases; they can best advise you further.
