If I’m 17, can show proof from a doctor that I’m pregnant and get married without consent?
My boyfriend and I want to raise our baby together but my parents won’t allow me to marry him although we are having a baby together. He has a job and we have a place to stay.

So long as you are under the age of 18, you are required to obtain your parents' written consent to get married under the laws of all states in this country. Being pregnant at 17 years of age will not get you a marriage license without the consent of your parents. You will need to wait until you are 18 years of age to get married without your parents' written consent.
