If you had a written lease for a definite term and the term is not yet up, the new owner buys the property subject to that lease they cannot remove or evict you until the lease is up, though they do not need to renew it or offer you a new lease. If you do not have an in-effect written lease, you are currently a month-to-month tenant on an oral lease. If that is the case, or you have a written lease which states that it is a month-to-month lease, then your tenancy may be terminated and you may evicted on one month's notice.
