If you and your former wife are still on legal title to the home you are writing about, the chances of her being able to get a second mortgage recorded on the property as part of a desired loan will be pretty remote thing to be accomplished if you are unwilling to sign documents allowing the second loan to go through based upon my past experience on such matters.
