No, they will not. If the order is issued in his name only they can not attach your assets. And the order will not be re-issued in your name - it is not your debt to pay. It is his. But remember that you will need to protect the funds from being depositied in to a joint account and the account holder (the bank) needs to know that the funds are your disability and exempt. Do some planning. Good luck.
