No, the company is NOT responsible--not even if it is a manager or even an owner of the company.
In the first place, in only a bare handful of states is still there any cause of action for "alienation of affection" or the like to begin with; in almost every state, there is NO liability for committing adultery with a married person.
In the second place, a company is not responsible for the actions of its staff which are not in the line of business or part of the company's business and employee's job; and having an affair is not in the line of business.
