You can probably request that one be taken through a court proceeding but they do not have to comply unless court ordered. You can, though, ask for an accounting of assets of the estate that you think are specifically missing and in general. Stealing from the estate is at the very least a breach of fiduciary duty and the executor needs to be called on the carpet for it. Get legal help. Good luck.
